I derive energy from the Sun: Rahul Dev: I derive a lot of energy
from the sun. I look at the sun every morning because it gives me inner peace and helps me connect with the Supreme Being.
I feel God is within us and when we do good deeds it’s basically that power that guides our actions. I really can’t
say why some of us indulge in evil deeds but I guess it’s His way of testing us. Of getting to know how far we can resist
temptations.
I feel God in bliss and sadness: Sonam Dubal
My relationship with God is a continuous process. There’s no particular moment
that I single out to connect with Him. He’s omnipresent and I can feel Him around me, in moments of crisis and of bliss.
Shefali Talwar's spiritual diary
If there was an all-pervasive, ubiquitous entity that let me experiment with life but
saved me in the nick of time, then it has to be God. My unwavering, unshaken faith in God is not because of any one particular
incident that could have reinforced my faith in Him, but more because of the kind of upbringing and the atmosphere in which
I have been brought up.
God keeps me close to my roots: Jas Arora
I have and will always be a devout believer in God. He’s the one who keeps me
firmly on the ground since I am constantly aware about the fact that whatever position I am at right now or wherever I will
be later in life will all be because of him and for that I’ll be eternally grateful to Him. I don’t really go
to a Gurudwara or a temple, while for some it may be their way of paying their respect to that eternal being up there but
for me a simple picture of Gurunanak Devji close to my heart in my pocket is a source of great solace.
Look beyond imperfections: Model-VJ Namrata Baruah
I am not a very religious person but I do believe that God resides
within me. I was never persuaded by my parents to pay my respects to a certain God or indulge in idol worship. But I’ve
visited temples and churches just to experience the energy these places reverberate and to take in the positive vibes of the
worshippers there.
I think God is an energy that is responsible for the creation of the universe. This energy is present
in everyone and it’s passed onto me when I touch an elder’s feet. The same is true for a child, whose mother gently
rubs his forehead to comfort him. It is this flow of positive energy that keeps the universe going.
